About the Journal
Convergencia de las Ciencias is a bilingual, multidisciplinary, open-access journal with double-blind peer review, published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA) on a continuous basis. This means that content is freely available to all readers immediately upon publication and is published as soon as production is finalized. It publishes research articles and reviews three times a year in any scientific area, covering both discipline-specific areas and broader interdisciplinary fields. It was created with the objective of disseminating original scientific research that, through the integration of knowledge, contributes solutions to current and complex societal problems with academic rigor and an innovative vision.
Convergencia de las Ciencias aims to provide authors with a fair, fast, and expert peer-review system while offering readers a selection of scientifically verified, quality research.
Led by a team of scientists experienced in diverse disciplines, the journal offers flexible article formats, with templates for each modality to facilitate the author's drafting and presentation of their work in the journal's formats.
The journal Convergencia de las Ciencias has a special interest in publishing research that breaks with traditional disciplinary approaches to address complex problems from innovative perspectives. We seek articles demonstrating how the integration of two or more areas of knowledge generates new understandings or practical applications, particularly in emerging fields where disciplinary boundaries blur. This approach reflects our conviction that the most transformative advances frequently arise at the intersections between disciplines, where the dialogue between different fields of knowledge allows problems to be addressed from novel angles. Manuscripts presenting this transdisciplinary nature will have priority in our editorial process, as they embody the spirit of convergence that gives our publication its name and which we consider essential for scientific development.
Topics of particular interest include, but are not limited to:
Biological Sciences
Natural and Environmental Sciences
Health Sciences
Social Sciences
Educational Sciences
Business Sciences
Information Science
Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences
Engineering and Technology
Cultural Studies
Consequently, the journal is directed at all undergraduate and graduate students, as well as professionals linked to these areas of knowledge.
At the time of submission, you will be asked to select one of the subject areas above to guarantee the review of your article by the appropriate editorial team.
